Auckland
Auckland Council welfare parcels
People who are unable to afford groceries or are in self-isolation with no access to other support networks can phone Auckland Emergency Management on 0800 222 296 between 7am–7pm, seven days a week. People who meet the Government’s eligibility criteria will be couriered a welfare parcel containing items such as dry goods, tinned vegetables and meats and basic toiletries. Read more >
Auckland City Mission food parcels
People who need a food parcel can phone 303 9266 and speak to the Crisis Care team. They will be given a time to collect a parcel from the distribution centre at 15 Auburn Street in Grafton. People must take ID with them to pick up the parcel.
Food parcels for Kainga Ora residents
Residents in Kainga Ora (state housing) in the Oranga, Onehunga, Panama, Mt Wellington or Ellerslie areas who are in need of a food parcel can email Josephine Bartley, Councillor for the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Ward: josephine.bartley@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz or can text 021 287 5599.

Phone 309 2054 to arrange a pick up at 8 Madeira Lane, Grafton. No walk-ins are allowed and collections are strictly from 11am–12noon on Monday to Friday.
St Vincent De Paul in Auckland
Phone 815 6122 or email auckland@stvinnies.co.nz and they can deliver a food parcel. Special conditions apply.
Ngā Whare Waatea marae
The marae offers a drive-through foodbank at 31 Calthorp Close, Mangere from 10am–2pm on Monday to Friday. Bring ID and wait in the car. Staff will get to each person one at a time, asking relevant questions as needed.
Papakura marae food parcels
Phone 297 2036 to request a food parcel. The marae will ring back for a phone interview, then food will be delivered. Food will only be delivered to the Papakura and Manurewa areas.
Orakei foodbank
Phone 521 5712 and leave a message with details about how many are in the family. Parcels are only delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays to Orakei, Kohimarama and Mission Bay.
St Marks Church in Pakuranga
The church is focusing on people in Pakuranga. Contact the church on their website or email stmarks@xtra.co.nz.
Hills Church in Hillsborough
Email office@hillschurch.nz or phone 021 266 3143. The church has also offered to go shopping for people who cannot leave home due to self-isolation if needed.
